A tripod turnstile uses a waist-high three-arm barrier for managed pedestrian flow at lobbies, offices and stations. A full height turnstile uses a floor-to-ceiling rotor that cannot be climbed over or tailgated, for plant perimeters and high-security zones. Aurotoshi makes both.
For controlled but open flow at a lobby or station, a tripod turnstile is enough. For a plant boundary, data centre or restricted zone where climb-over and forced entry are a risk, a full height turnstile is the right choice. Both come in single and dual-lane options.
Tripod turnstiles handle 30 to 35 persons per minute. Full height turnstiles handle 25 to 30 per minute on the 537 series and 30 to 35 on the 538 series, with an opening and closing time under 0.5 second.
Yes. Anti-tailgating and anti-pass-back are standard across the range, enforcing one authorised person per entry. The full height rotor also prevents climb-over, which a waist-high barrier cannot.
RFID, fingerprint, QR, face-scan, iris and Morpho readers are all supported as options, alongside fire-alarm auto-unlock and fail-safe or fail-secure emergency modes.
Cabinets and rotors are SS 304 hairline stainless as standard, with SS 316 or galvanised powder-coated options for harsh or outdoor sites. Full height units carry an IP54 rating.
